There’s been a lot of buzz about the new Tramsheds at Harold Park (basically Glebe) that opened late last month and we can now confirm that the hype is well justified. The long abandoned but heritage listed old tram depot has been completely revamped and reborn as a European inspired market hall full of uber cool eateries and loads of other gourmet purveyors. The space has been cleverly designed to retain the historic tramshed feel complete with sawtooth roof, but with a completely modern twist. Whatever your tastebuds have a hankering for can be found at the Tramsheds. From established eateries like Bodega 1904, The Butcher and the Farmer, Garcon, Mama’s Buoi and Flour Eggs Water by A Tavola. Plus loads of smaller specialty stores like Dust Bakery, Sir Chapel bistro and Brewery, Gelato Messina and Naked Foods. The Tramsheds is a one stop foodies heaven. It’s open 7 days a week for brekkie, lunch and dinner … Book it in Danno.
